Sand/ Shot Blasting Hose (As per IS: 5894: 1980)
Construction
Lining - Uniform seamless tube of natural/synthetic/blend rubber compound of high tensile strength, excellent abrasion resistance and free from air blister, porosity and other defects.
Reinforcement - Plies of rubber impregnated woven textile or braiding of high strength natural/synthetic fibre.
Cover - Suitable rubber compound of cloth marked finish resistant to abrasion and weather.
Electric Bonding - A strand of copper wire is embedded between the reinforcement plies to provide electrical continuity throughout the length of the hose.
Pressure - Type 1 - W. P. 0.7 MPa & B. P. 3.5MPa.,
Type 2 - W. P. 1.0 MPa & B. P. 5.0MPa
APPLICATION
For conveying sand, shots or other abrasive materials used in ordnance factory, steel fabrication, shipyards, manufacturing workshops, heavy engineering industries, Gas cylinder manufacturing units etc.

Construction
Type 1 -
- A rubber inner lining of natural/synthetic/ blend rubber compound, free from porosity, air blisters, or any other visible defects.
- A reinforcement of one or more layers of natural/synthetic fibre or combination there of; applied by a suitable technique.
- Spiral wire (Galvanized Steel Wire).
- Abrasion resistant, outer rubber cover corrugated or smooth
Type 2
- Semi-embedded internal wire.
- A rubber inner lining.
- A reinforcement of one or more layers of natural or synthetic fibre or combination thereof, applied by a suitable technique.
- Abrasion resistant outer rubber cover-corrugated or smooth.
- An external wire armouring applied in the Corrugation.
End Connection : Each hose length has soft ends for clamping or can be supplied with built in nipple and flanges on request.
APPLICATION
For suction and delivery of water free from solids and muddy water, in agriculture, domestic works, dam projects and de-watering of general purpose.
